  I will usually give a place two chances before I lay down the ol' rating game. I know this place is a staple, that it's mentioned in conversations regarding dinner here and there. I'm new to town, and I wanted to see what the fuss was all about.
  
  Its kitschy interior could be construed as "fun" yet very uncomfortable. My first impression based on walking through the door was unfortunately a letdown, surprising since the parking lot seemed relatively full.
  
  I order a beer, a medium rare steak (that initially came out medium well) with a Salmon combo and a potato. My other half ordered salsbury steak. Both were cold. They were sent back to be reheated. My dish was still lukewarm at best, but the other plate just ended up getting exchanged completely for a subpar Reuben. (Sidenote: I can spot a cheap bastard a mile away when you stack a reuben sky high with onions and very little corned beef)
  
  Needless to say, the Manager on duty didn't approach us, wasn't even noticeable, and it took 5 minutes of reinacting the life of a prairie dog to grab anyone's attention.
  
  Finally after exhaustion from trying to make it work still, we got our server to bring us a to go box (she was very kind btw) and a check. I've never been here before, so when it came time to pay the check, we took it up to their station to pay, one of the other blonde servers was rather nasty to us when we asked to pay our check. Look, I ate here, but problem after problem, I will go out of my way to deter locals and visitors alike from dining here. They only have reputation going for them, and that's on a thin thread as it is.
  
  I don't recommend this place, nor do I appreciate the nastiness of a server (again, not ours, but the one who we spoke with at the station). I'm being generous with two stars...VERY generous.
